Cats Only Bed & Breakfast was established in 1996 by Ursula Satelmayer to provide cats with a pleasant, stress-free 'cat'cation while their owners are away. Recognizing that the presence of dogs in the typical kennel is very stressful for cats, Ursula set out to create an environment designed with a cat's comfort in mind.
Ursula passed away September 2020. Her daughter-in-law and son, Julie and Ron Satelmayer continue to run Cats Only Bed & Breakfast in her honour, and follow her vision of providing exceptional and loving boarding services for cats.

With her commitment to providing exceptional daily care and enrichment, she ensures that our feline guests enjoy a comfortable and pleasant stay. Samantha dedicates ample playtime to each cat and continually seeks innovative ways to minimize stress during their visit. Additionally, she meticulously completes report cards and responds to emails, keeping pet owners well-informed about their beloved pets' experiences while in our care. We are fortunate to have her part of our team.

Maintenance/Kennel Attendant/Jack of all trades
Ron, Julie’s husband, is an invaluable member of our team. Whether he’s delivering water jugs, hauling supplies, or keeping the bird feeders full, he helps our facility run smoothly and our furry clients happy.
He’s our go-to for an extra set of hands—supporting busy shifts, helping with spirited cats, or tackling repairs big and small. From transportation to quick fixes, Ron is always ready to pitch in.
Simply put, he’s a great guy, and we’re lucky to have him.

Mae’s bright smile and friendly personality bring warmth to our facility. She has several years of experience working with animals and a strong passion for caring for them. Mae is also a cat owner herself, which deepens her understanding and compassion for the pets in her care. She is one of our newest team members, and we are very excited to have her part of our team!
